Omo Valley Tribal Safari

Visit the culture and customs of many Omo peoples: growing their food, marrying, dancing, raising their children, building their homes, and living their lives as their ancestors did.
Lip discs, body piercings, scarrings, jewelry and animal skins adorn the many Omo tribes, each with their own unique language and culture. Hairstyles are particularly individual and important.

Miles of hiking trails will allow the traveler unlimited access to wildlife and endemic birds. Don't forget to bring plenty of film and your binoculars.
Comfortable shoes, conservative walking shorts and malaria pills are a must in the Rift Valley. Elevation is much lower in this part of the country than in the capital of Addis Ababa.

The duration of the Omo Valley Safari can be from a minimum of five days up to 21 days, with each one designed to the individual needs and desires of our clients. A typical 10-day trip will visit 4 or 5 tribes.
