PHOTO SAFARI
Many areas in Ethiopia are a photographer's delight. The people generally love to be photographed, but it is always a good idea to ask permission and to offer a small tip.

AWASH NATIONAL PARK- 2 day trip
Located in the western part of Ethiopia, Awash National Park has an abundance of birds and wildlife. Those wishing may camp overnight within the park boundaries. Less adventurous travelers can overnight in a nearby town. The second morning is usually spent at the nearby Filwoha Hot Springs.

BALE MOUNTAINS
Habitat for many mammals including the rare Menelik bushbuck, endemic to Ethiopia, as well as mountain nyala, warthog, bobor reedbuck, guereza, vervet monkey, Bale monkey, lion, leopard, antelope and African wild dog. Also many species of forest birds.

OMO VALLEY
A crocodile farm, 70 documented mammals and over 350 bird species dwell along with 15 endemic butterflies in this lush savannah. Zebras, hippos, gazelles and hartebeast are abundant, and you may be lucky enough to see an elephant or lion.
